I bought a aerial assent wakeboard tower and the site said it would fit any boat with a beam from 66-96 inches. But i couldnt get it to fit on my 88 mastercraft platinum prostar which has a 70 inch beam. any suggestions on what i should do?

Re: aerial tower

Call the manufacturer and ask them about your model of boat. You might need to send them pictures of the tops of your gunwhales, maybe there's something funny about them. Maybe they can give you different mounting knuckles or something.

Does it just not line up, or is it way off?

Also, when I was tower shopping most websites have photo galleries of their stuff on other boats. Did aerial have any that was close to yours?

Re: aerial tower

The aerial airborne and assault towers are very bad.you can not stop the shaking.Very dangerous. The side bars easily become loose.
The DIYWAKE swoop tower is much more stable.

Re: aerial tower

I have had no problems installing or using our Aerial Tower. We love the look and fell of our Aerial Airborne Tower just because you could not figure out how to install the tower you bought on your boat does not mean you need to bash Aerial Towers. It may be made in China but 8 out of 10 things you touch everyday was made in China including the Microsoft Keyboard, mouse, and ViewSonic Monitors I am currently using. Just about everything on my workstation here at work was made in China with the exception of the Valcom Paging Horn it was made the good ole USA.

I would think this depends highly on how they are installed. I've seen lots of nice Aerial setups. But, take all that with a grain of salt. I have an overpriced Roswell Wake-Air and I absolutely love it.

They are not poorly made! I installed mine earlier this year, have used it every single weekend with no issues. I'd seriously look at the installer of your tower to solve your issues:rolleyes:...............Oh, you are installing it? Call the company, speak to customer service, that's what they are there for. The company has been way cool with me, answered any and all questions I had.

Re: aerial tower

to all of you who have installed wakeboard towers. What are your thoughts, experiences between the single bolt foot that aerial uses and the four bolt type feet that some other manufacturers use? I'm looking at the aerial and I like it a lot, but there is also a company called TL Towers that has a very similar tower but uses a four bolt foot. Which is better, why?
