Holy cow has it been a couple years since any boat work! Wow time flies. Not really a boat update but a boat house update. Decided to add on to my shed so I hav a place to continue working on the boat. It's such a small weather window of opportunity working outside so it's time to get it indoors. Just started digging out the trees around it and clearing back the top soil. I will post up some pics soon and try to get this shed addition going. Hope everyone is doing well! In the mean time I'll be getting caught up on your projects.
Cheers

I'd been better off "easier, cheaper, quicker" sistering trusses in next to the old but what would I have learned from that. I'm doing this by myself and I'm not a builder so the learning curve is steap!!!

Looks like ur doing a fine job Saginaw!......throw some Simpson clips where the rafters meet the sill plate, and it will outlast you :)

This is the front with the framing nearly done. Ya SP I didn't want to tear down the old shed so I approached it this way. Zool you are correct I still have to add some simpson ties to the trusses on the back per the inspector, but he said the rafters are OK as is nailed to the plate.

This is where I left off this fall. Cedar facia, drip edge, shingled, stained siding. The front of the building is still pretty much open.
