Don't you find it interesting that the Al Gores of the world will say that global warming is a problem when it's snowing in April?

It's also interesting that they'll say snow in April, (a record 100 year cold for down here in Louisiana) is just a "freak thing" and doesn't mean global warming doesn't exist, but when it's hot outside they call it "proof of global warming?"

Hmm, sounds like those whackos use the current weather to push their agendas only when it's convienent to do so.

Your last sentence says it all WF. It is the same for everything on their agenda.

I will say it once more. There is undoubtedly global temperature fluctuations going on right now. The Left, totally bereft of any spiritual affiliation is desperately trying to use this issue to 1) secure their position in some undefined afterlife, 2) as a vehicle to control you, to tax you, to further the inroads of global control, to reduce your standard of living, to eliminate the traditional American individualism and to control you from cradle to grave.

Connect the dots! It is happening but you could stop breathing today and it would not make one iota difference in what is going on with the global temperature fluctuations.

The UN wants to tax you, the UN wants to control you, the UN wants to take your guns away and the Left is in league with them.

Look at the planets where no man exists. There are signs of warming on them. Sure we want to be responsible but this current push from the left is hysterical beyond all reason. They have ulterior motives. One cannot look at an Algore and say,"this man has my best interest at heart". Come on. Connect the dots or we are going to end up like the rest of the sniveling, cowering Western World.

...and oh? About the consensus from the 'World's Scientists'? Where do you think that comes from? Who is pushing that, hmmmm?

This should be a direct challenge to the UN tree. The USA is not the only country in the world. I really can not understand why some folks think everything is our fault. I thought it was the thinking ( lil mind reading here) of the left theat the UN is the final say on what the world should do.
Make up your minds...opppsss

Hey tree, just a little FYI, China has now surpassed the USA in CO2 output and said they won't comply with any regulations.

What cha' gonna do now?

China will continue to get more and more dirty, we'll get cleaner and cleaner, and with the expense of trying to find cleaner fuels and more efficient vehicles our economy will be brought to its knees while China's will continue to boom.

Checked out the price of food lately? That wonderful ethanol is costing us more in food than it's saving us in gas.

Possibly, but without a link, I will accept this as right side BS.(talking about their refusal to try to regulate)

BTW, whose regulations......ours? I don't blame them if this is the case. We certainly would not agree to be regulated by them.

This Ethanol thing is gowing to quickly blow up in our faces,

Farmers are already growing corn this year insted of wheat and other things we as well as other countries need. Some countries rely on our excess corn, there will be no excess corn now.

Also, don`t people understand that a vehicle that runs on ethanol uses conciderably more fuel to make the same HP than an engine ran on gas???????????

Re: All this global warming weather we've been having...

What I find ridiculous is the amount of media coverage this stuff recieves. I mean this made the Milwaukee newspaper website today........

Germantown - The spring snowstorm forecast for southern Wisconsin over the next two days has municipal snow removal crews preparing to hit the streets.

In Germantown today, workers installed plows on 10 trucks and filled the trucks with road salt, said Jay Olszewski, the village highway superintendent.

"We're ready," he said.

Why did someone waste their time covering that? No one cares.......I live in Germantown and I certainly don't. Just more media propaganda to get everyone all riled up over nothing.

This link says that ( http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/6540119.stm )

<<Only tropical forests effectively cool the earth by absorbing carbon dioxide and creating clouds, the report says.>>

This link says that we are loosing our tropical forest at the rate of 80,000 acres a day

http://rainforests.mongabay.com/0801.htm
<
<Although the precise area is debated, each day at least 80,000 acres (32,300 ha) of forest disappear from Earth.>>

Seems to contradict each other doesn?t it? What?s a person to do?

Re: All this global warming weather we've been having...

I have one question; can we convert our ethanol plants that use corn to Hemp plants? Seems to me that hemp would be a better choice for ethanol than corn, after all corn is a food, hemp has a lot more uses than weed. I don?t believe anyone has been eating it lately,
