Quick question for you all. I have had a bogging problem all year but it has GOTTEN better. I got this service bulletin about problems with bogging so I tried doing a few of the things the suggested. I readjusted my accelerater pump lever to the top hole was in the middle. Also poured some SeaFoam in the carb and let it sit for 5 and cranked it up and it smoked like a ******* for a few then clears so I figured had so major carbon build up. Also readjusted the choke setting and the boat ran great for a week and a half. Befrore I tryed this stuff it would bog everytime after about 15 minutes and at 3000rpms.

So here is the new old issue. So the boat has been running good and I finally ran out most of the gas in the tank and put in 8 gallons ( out of 19) of fresh gas but I noticed when the lake is flat early morning the boat runs great then later in the day if there is a lot of traffic and it is choppy out it started to bog again but it varys what RPM it does it on.

I seem to thing there is crap in the tank that is getting sucked up and getting cloged in the fuel pickup. The tank is 11 years old and before I tear apart the floor and replace I want to see what others think. Do you think it would slush around so much if I fill it everytime out? Would that help the problem until I can rip the tank out this winter?

Also I can not get off the brass fitting on the fuel line that holds the little filter in the carb it is striped what is the best way to remove that with out doing more damage?
Thanks for the help everyone this site is great.
