alpha one on merc 120 wiring questions

Ok so after a big job of replacing the wood transom I'm putting it all back together. well I need help with the locations of the 4 wires from the gimbal housing two have bullet ends and I think I have seen diagrams with those but the other two have eyes on them and I cant remember where they go. I took pictures when I took it apart but had computer crash and lost them

also the wire from the distributor goes to the - side of coil correct

pretty sure I have the rest covered

any help is great

Yes, dist to negative on coil. Sounds like your other wires are for the trim switches. Couldn't tell you exactly where they go on the 120 but I'm sure someone else will chime in.

the bullet ends go to the trim pump wiring, the eyes go to the plastic block on the front? of the engine.

Are you shifting firmly into gear? Or easing into gear? A good firm shift is necessary, anything else will grind regardless of the adjustment.
