Re: Aluminum to stainless prop; lost WOT rpm
Update:

I got the boat to the water. After fiddling a bit with trim, I am now up to 4800 rpm, 31-33mph (by GPS). This is an improvement, but still not yet up to recommended WOT range of 5000-5500.

I can maybe go another 3/4" higher on x-dimension before I run out of transom to clamp on to. Might I expect to get 400+ rpm from this move?

I cannot add a permatrim (or other hydrofoil) because of the location of my kicker...with both motors down, the kicker prop would nick the hydrofoil.

If raising the motor again does not work, I may consider having a prop shop remove cup from prop. Again I ask, how much might I expect to pay for this service?
