Re: amsoil synthetic oil
So, Forktail, share some more of your infinate wisdom with us
Ok.<br /><br /><br />
How many times do I have to say, that I got that web site when I signed up??
Yep. But you linked it
here at iboats as
free advertising.

<br /><br />You didn't have to do that. Instead you could've linked pictures of your boat or a good fishing story or whatever. So I stand by my observation that it is distasteful.<br /><br /><br />
Believe me it would be different if i had actually designed it.
No one forces you to post that particular Amsoil sales gimmick. Certainly no one forces you to put it one click away here at iboats.

<br /><br /><br />
As to Amsoils marketing plan, (IT SUCKS). But do I really care, NO...Were it posable, I would be a Klotz dealer
Well, that's confusing. You think Amsoil's marketing plan "sucks", but have that "sucky" information linked right here so people can inform themselves. And you repeat, sometimes almost word for word, much of their "sucky" marketing.

<br /><br />You say you don't care, yet get all bent out of shape if someone agrees with you that it "sucks". <br /><br />To top it off, you'd rather sell Klotz, yet in past posts (which I can reference) you say "Amsoil is the best". <br /><br /><br />
have sold 0000000 oil from this site, nor do I care.
Right.

<br /><br /><br />
I have it there so if people are interested in checking out the products, they can go there and do it.
Exactly. Too bad your home page isn't just informational. It's a sales site!

<br /><br />If all of what you say about not caring is true, and you want members here to check out products, then you would've linked information and products from other oil companies at your site as well. But nope....just the one you sell.<br /><br /><br />
Like I said, this oil is "FORMULATED" To run that way
I don't care how Amsoil says their oil is "FORMULATED". If the manufacture of the outboard doesn't recommend running 100:1, then you don't do it. The folks who made the engine know what oil ratio to run in it, not some oil marketer.<br /><br /> <br />
I wouldnt ask anyone to run a regular oil at 100:1...
So what do you call this?....<br /><br />
By LubeDude - "but if you premix, you can use the HP Injector at 50:1, or the Saber at 100:1."<br /><br /><br />
You are just showing people how Bias you really are, Repeating yourself, and dodging past Posts that show you are just trying to intentionally cause trouble.

LMAO

. If my opinions are biased then so be it. I have that right. But at least I don't link a sales site in my homepage to that bias, trying to sell it, like you.<br /><br />If there is a past post that you feel I'm "dodging" or "causing trouble" with, please reference it so we can clear it up for you. Otherwise quit your antics. And don't make me dig up all the crap and misinformation that you've posted here.<br /><br /><br />No one here is bashing Amsoil. What brand of oil people use is strictly personal preference. However, I do get tired of biting my tongue at some of the misinformation and bad advice you give. After all, you are the "LubeDude", with a mystique of being such a great source of oil information. IMO, you don't know much about oils at all, and fly by the seat of your pants, learning as you go. But what do I know....I'm just a retired automotive and petroleum engineer.<br /><br />If members want to take your advice and run a non-certified TCW-3 oil at 100:1, then that's their prerogative.
