First of all no disrespect intended.

I know the local big time Amsoil dealer in my area. It's a well known fact that the oil in not certified.
We can go round and round, easiest thing to do is for you to call them up like I did.
Let us know if they finally say they are compliant or certified. If they are certifed they will have a certificate number, ask for that also.

The link to the certifed TCW-3 oils is all you need to know, is Amsoil on it or not, case closed.

The rep will say they "meet", exceed, better than TCW-3 spec, but in the end they will also admit it the oil is not certified. It's not a secret and has been posted up numerous times on other websites.

Re: Amsoil

Its simantics in the end.. The oil does what your looking for it to do. "Certified" or not, there is no warranty issue. The manufacturer can't void your warranty if the oil meets/exceeds the specification they require. They can't void it if it DOESN'T meet the spec. They have the burdon of proof in proving that the lack of proper spec oil actually caused the damage. Been down this road several times.
There is nothing you have to be worried about in using the oil that's advertised to meet the spec. You do however need to stop saying that it doesn't meet the spec because it does. Certified? NO, qualified? YES. there is a difference, but none that will stop you from getting warranty work.

Re: Amsoil

Never said that in my postings, I can't find it can you?
Our local NAPA store carries it.
I just can't use it until my warrenty is up since it's not TCW-3 rated.

It is TC-W3 rated, it's not certified by nmma. This is what I was referring too. Your statement is false, and misleads everyone reading it to believe that it will void their warranty.
