Re: And they "quoted" me $250.00 for JUST for "shrink-wraping!"
Wow!!! I just got my first "roasting" on iBoats! The only difference is like Charlie stated in his "roasting", I didn't realize how EDIT I was thinking wise until you brought it to my attention! Well... I didn't EDIT the guy on Craigslist considering I called 3 marinas and they were going to charge an average of $8.00 a foot. So with me selling him a 75 foot roll at $100.00 so he could potentially make money, I should have charged him

$600.00 by my calculations. How many of you actually pay $250.00 for shrink wrapping and $400.00 for winterizing? That's my point behind all this! Last year the charge for winterizing and shrink wrapping was about $500.00 and now they want

$650.00! Hell even I go through price changes once a year but I don't gouge by 30% because I didn't run my business the wrong way, made stupid investments, didn't adjust to the economy, hire when I should have scaled back, or ordered more inventory without knowing my sales capability. Everyone has there own way of doing things. That's why we were all made differently. By the way, I talked to the guy on Craigslist that I sold the shrink wrapping to. It turns out he wrapped 4 boats yesterday with the remainder of the roll and called to let me know he made an additional $500.00! So how does this go now... I thought I was getting EDIT, then I was told I EDIT someone else, then he EDIT4 other people, to a thank you from the guy that did more EDIT than myself when I was trying to accomplish something for my self. Man... what has this world come to!
