Well, thanks to you "well intentioned party boys" you reminded me that absolute and lemonade is absolutley the best summer drink of all, especially while watching the Car's cartoon movie.

It's even better if you use the Absolute Citron (lemon flavored) and a splash of marishino cherry juice. I'm slowly but surely making my way thru the iBoaters roster, converting them into lushes like myself...misery loves company...

Just remember, the liver is an evil organ and it must be punished.

It's even better if you use the Absolute Citron (lemon flavored) and a splash of marishino cherry juice. I'm slowly but surely making my way thru the iBoaters roster, converting them into lushes like myself...misery loves company...

SWABBIE, if I may call you that, I believe there will be get togethers every year, now. Our St Augustine get together was at the end of June, as you know. Start makin' plans for next year, Pal!!! I'm Quite sure that all it will take for a get together to happen is a post.

Hmmm, next year, end of June ... usually doesn't work for vacations ... middle of August is better, but sometimes June works ... gotta work on getting with all you crazies.

And I KNOW mrs sasto can't keep sasto in check, she is too nice and he is too, well, he is too, um, you fill in the blank!

VH...hold on a second, my friend. You totally missed the fall. After Sasto's get together in Spetember (isn't it September yet?!?), I still have to get our boat back to Sanford, Fl. That means another trip back around thru Jacksonville around the end of October. Doesn't mean we can't stop for a day or two in St. Augustine or Jacksonville...

How far is Jax from you guys???

Well... If I had actually thought about it, I might agree with you. I never even thought about the fall regarding SWABBIE, because of his wife's teaching career. He had said that when school is in session, they can't go on vacation. Now that I'm thinking about it, I don't even remember if there is or isn't a fall break.:redface:

And another thing... When it comes to talk of stopping in St Augustine or Jacksonville, I'd appreciate it if you'd get that sarcastic look off your face.

And one more thing... Regarding September...

Middle of August, huh? You must like it reeeaaally warm... and humid.

The St Augustine Get Together Is based on Fireman's 250+ mile voyage to get his boat 35 miles from where it was. That is just SOOO cool. If I remember correctly, he embarked later than he would have liked. I'm pretty sure he generally takes off prior to June. Either way, we'll get together. One thing I learned very quickly about Fireman... Well there was probably more than one... But anyway, he loves to be on the water with iboaters. We had an incredible time, on and off the water.

With enough prior planning, I believe I can safely say that we'll make it happen. I think summer is the best time for sasto and mrs sasto. I'm not sure when the best time for nlain is; but I'm sure he'll let us know. SWABBIE? How about you?

ill be bringing my best friend and leaving saturday!

is there a boat that we could ride on? =)

Regarding the trip back around to Sanford, I can do that one with less than a week's notice. Only Mrs. Fireman needs to arrange time off from work (hack, hack, cough, cough...to sick to come in...)

Hell, VH...arrange something in your neck of the woods. It's all dry roads 'twixt here and there...we'll be there! Gauranteed!

Shoot...let's all do some driving and make it a Keys trip!

As to the best time for me to attend, well at this time I work the first Saturday of every month, that weekend is out, the rest of them for St Augustine/Jacksonville Fl would pretty much work for me. Close enough if I brought the boys they would not have to miss school for a weekend trip, as long as the money holds out.

Now, Swabbie, I went to Google maps, Carbondale to St Augustine is only 14 hrs 8 mins away from you. I will have to say that is quite a drive, I would want a little more than a weekend.

I found the blank! I rec'd swimmers ear a couple days ago spearfishing. I layed on my side and Kimi treated it with a mix of alcohol and peroxide. It came out my other ear and now I have it in both!

Hey Everyone! Hope that you don't mind one of the "upper Chesapeake" guys posting in your thread I have been watching this thread for awhile and having a hard to keeping up sometimes

When I saw Firemans statement above it really got my attention! I have only been to the keys once about 10 years ago for just a couple days but I can't wait to get back there someday. If you guys seriously plan a Keys trip sometime, I may just have to jump on a plane on join you guys!

Welcome Blue Crabber! Anytime anyone wants to make a quick Keys run, we're there! We have stayed everywhere from Largo to Key West (...OMG...the Duval Crawl!!! )

Looe Key is a great place for snorkeling, fishing, and not too far from the end. Pick a day and count us in!

Thanks for the welcome guys!!! I would love to join you for September but the Admiral and I are headed out to Lake Powell for a houseboat rental for our 5th wedding anniversary during your gathering. Just cant be at 2 places at once.

Maybe next year though.
