I owned a 92 2452 a few years back, an upgrade I would suggest is to hinge the door on the right, that way it doesn't trap the passenger in the seat. Its easy to do, just move the hinges to the rh side on the outside of the door and space them out with a wooden block. The 95 and newer did this from the factory but I couldn't find the offset hinges they used. Mine had a 350 magnum tweaked up to about 280 hp, I found the best prop was a 15.5x18 Quicksilver, believe me I must have tried at least 10 different props. I cant understand why you took off the Bennett tabs and put on smart tabs, I actualy made some stainless plates to double the area of my bennetts, they worked great. One last thing, these boats hate weight on the back but love it on the front, we would carry 4, 5 gallon Gerry cans of fuel on the bow on long trips, you sure didn't want them in the cockpit. Good luck and enjoy your new toy.
