Re: Another VRO to non VRO ?
The lift pump # 438559 was usually used as part of a two-pump setup on 105HP and other V4 models in the late 90's and early 2000's. It was usually paired with pump # 438557.
From 1991 through 1996, OMC used a single lift pump Part # 433,387
on a limited number of V4 models, mostly 88HP and some 112HP. This pump has been superseded by Part # 438556.
In 1997 and in 1998, OMC used a single lift pump, part number 0438556, on a limited number of 90HP and 115HP motors, including:

The VRO and VRO pumps are much more powerful pumps than the single lift pumps; personally I would not use one alone for your application but would set it up with the two lift pumps so that you eliminate some of the risk of running lean.
