Why did you leave? I remember st.thomas.Nice place.Lived in St. Thomas about 15 years ago. Had a '78 Sea Ray 30' (a 305 if I remeber correctly) Fly Bridge. That old boat ws built like a tank and weathered many a bad storm.
I am from bonaire next to aruba and curacao, roughly 50 miles of the coast of venezuela..a working visa is pretty hard for u.s citizens for some reason...Got a spare bedroom?
How hard is it to get a work visa?
I've visited several islands on a few different trips and would love to be able to post in this thread legitimately!

Different strokes for different folks. If it was up to me, would still be there, but would be divorced long ago. Wife didn't like "the island life" and wanted off "the rock". Me, on the other hand, loved the island life. Guess it's what you make it out to be. I embraced it but she wanted back to the mainland and didn't embrace it / only looked at the negetive aspects. Hurricanes, a HUGE part of island life there, scare the crap out of her.
