They have their moments, the one with the blind guy could be in the all time Top Gear top 10 list....

I have not seen that one.
But I know I like the Brit one better, probably because of the three "dufesses??" that host it, I know I will probably never own the iron that they are testing, BUT when you combine curly, moe and whats his name, makes for some funny stuff.
(the three from the US production have as much chemistry as mud on mud)

Oh I don't miss the British version, your right its way better. I think the hardest part about watching the British version is trying to figure out some of the celebrities, sometimes I just have no clue who they are but the rest of the show is great and something I look forward to. I wish they would make the Stigs full laps available on the web too, I am a Racer so it would be cool to see how someone who Races at the highest level runs a track rather then just the edited highlights. If you have not seen the British Caravan episode I would highly recommend it, If I can figure it out I am going to put that one in my DVD collection.....Probably a good idea to watch it before drinking anything so as to avoid any flying liquids.

Adam Carolla and or Tim Allen in addition to Leno would be better IMO
Also there are a ton of car people out there that would probably be good. A Dale Jr., Danica Patrick or John Force type person. Dale Jr? You are joking-right? Danica Patrick is too much of a snob and John Force is too unpredictable.

Leno would be PERFECT.

Anyway there is no doubt in my mind the 3 hosts of the original Top Gear would laugh at and rip the "USA" version and rightfully so I suppose. I'm watching it but its not near as good as the original. And the original is seen in 17 countries with 350 million estimated viewers.
I guess my question is why cant it be shown here ? Because it would destroy the U.S. Version. Is it too politically incorrect ? I think it may have been shown here couple years back on Speed or BBC but I did not have that ultra premium package cable.

Not only was the "NASCAR Sucks" episode hysterically funny but I believe they were driving a PINK Volvo to boot. OMG! What a death wish.

Well the job we were on two weeks ago has still got paper work issues before we can get back at it.
Heading up to the Caribou, Quesnel, to have a look at a job early next week.
Another 6 hours in the saddle one way, but it beats watching the snow melt or paint dry.

I need to get after things though, I need to replace a grouser on the snowcat, stabilize the fuel and then take it to storage for the summer, then go buy motor oil, outdrive lube and beer for tomorrow, time to get the boat out and start summerizing supposed to be near 80F tomorrow so perfect day to do boat maintenance then quickly rewrap her in a tarp for the 4"s of !@#$%^& snow due monday night! but looks like I will be on the water before too long!

I saw a replay of this episode set in your E Coast - wow - pity about the speed limit on that highway of yours - really kills driving doesn't it!! Great American characters tho
