When one of the posts pops up on your wall, hover your cursor in the right upper corner of the post, and the word hide will appear. You can hide the person, or the offending app. Makes it a whole lot more peaceful!
well the new update FB put on has live feed and news feed.... which is plain annoying.... on the left of your screen where it says news feed etc.. down below it says more.. if you click on more and then drag status updates to the top then that is what you will always see. If you want to look at photos put it underneath status updates and click on it to view when you want. The status updates will be your "home" page from now on and you won't see farmville or mafia wars anymore...
