Re: Are boaters highly motivated people?

I agree to what was said above that most people use their boats like cars. I see so many plain junky boats out there I just don't think the majority of boat owners care. Some of those same people however really care about their cars so I don't know what to say. I think there is the time issue too. I live in a neighborhood of successful people. Business owners, Dr's, lawyers, local celebrities, executives, etc. For the life of me I can't figure out why more of them don't care about their yards more. They are all very motivated professionally but many just don't care to either maintain their yards well or pay someone to do it. Across the street is another larger neighborhood and 99% of the yards are manicured to perfection. My point is there just seems to be different types of motivation and you can't be motivated at everything all the time.

Nope.

Completely un-motivated... Most days.

;)

I'm usually very, very, very highly motivated... And BROKE.

If I had 2 things: a shop and a little cash, I'd have almost a brand new boat.. Part of quiting your job and going back to school I guess.

If you make it out on the lake, you are a motivated person
If you do not make it out on the lake and your boats full of leaves and trash, maybe not so motivated.

Motivated to always want to be out on the lakes! But most of all I love my boat and the idea of boats in general. Because of this I am always happy to be spending time doing anything related to my boat. Which makes what some people consider work, is actually fun time for me!
