I agree to what was said above that most people use their boats like cars. I see so many plain junky boats out there I just don't think the majority of boat owners care. Some of those same people however really care about their cars so I don't know what to say. I think there is the time issue too. I live in a neighborhood of successful people. Business owners, Dr's, lawyers, local celebrities, executives, etc. For the life of me I can't figure out why more of them don't care about their yards more. They are all very motivated professionally but many just don't care to either maintain their yards well or pay someone to do it. Across the street is another larger neighborhood and 99% of the yards are manicured to perfection. My point is there just seems to be different types of motivation and you can't be motivated at everything all the time.
