Are there ANY tandem trailers for $1000 out there????

I am getting frustrated with my search. If anyone knows where I can get a serviceable trailer in MD quickly,. let me know.

I've looked at 10 pieces of junk where the people thought theywere made of gold.

This shoreline I am going to look out is my last hope(so far).
He wants a grand, supposedly in great shape. Does this thing have brakes?

try craigs list. patients will bring decent trailer to you. If you get the pictured trailer, I would extend the tongue some... the bow will be way too close for my comfort to the vehicle.

Nope no Brakes and wow that winch post is way too far forward.

The pictured trailer definitely does not have hydraulic surge brakes, but it might have electric brakes. Check the back of each wheel. If you see wires it has electric brakes.

Thanks guys. I would drive 5-6 hours for a decent trailer.

I would have suggested that there's a bunch of them on Baltimore's CL but you probably looked at all of them already :(

An option is to check ebay and look at those "Boat Angel" charity boat auctions. Some of them come with decent trailers though the boat is a mess. Can saw the boat up and take it to Scarboro.

Often see better deals in Craigs in Delaware, South Jersey, York, Lancaster, basically anywhere around the actual Baltimore region, heh.

Maybe call the local Repo guy in Rock Hall, LAB Marine. Might have a trailer or a junk boat w/ trailer, haven't roamed his lot since last fall but he's got a ton of stuff.

Last thing I can think of is the Powersports auction in Bel Air. Call the Bel Air Auto Auction and ask for Joe Finall, he runs it.

I'll keep an eye out til you get one.

Thanks again guys. I don't live to far from the BA auto action, and beig in the bizz in the past, know most of those guys.

I use www.craigspal.comfor searching multiple locations.

My search is over, I bought the EZ Loader off of ebay, and am driving 380 miles each way Saturday to pick it up. I got it for $737, and will burn less than a $100 in diesel to go get it. I'm always up for a road trip, 2 weekends ago I drove to Atlanta on a Friday, and home on Sunday, that was 750 miles each way.

My poor truck is picking up the miles here of late. :D

Anyway, any thoughts and opinions on this model trailer is appreciated. Does anyone think I will have to adjust/modify the bunks for my '78 Wellcraft Nova 210XL?
I am going to take measurements off the boat Friday to be certain.

Bargains this time of year are rare around here, the average galvanized roller tandem will go for anywhere from $1500 to $2200 used, and bunk tandem will bring $1200 to $1500. With or without brakes. Most seem to prefer no brakes.
I just sold a Shoreline, about a 1982 model in good shape with no brakes, twin 3500lb axles, for $1750, the ad was up for all of about 4 hours.

If the one you just bought is towable and not rusted out, you got a great deal.
It looks like it could be converted to rollers pretty easy as well.

Yes, this guy has great feedback and he says it's in great condition. We will see Saturday.

Any Cleveland people here, I wouldn't mind grabbing lunch while I'm there.
