Atwood 82541 options

The one I have (on a '87 trl) has been missing the cap and is full of rust so it needs rebuilt, it does not have the reverse lockout lever that is shown in this picture:


What are my options on rebuilding it with a reverse lockout other than cutting it off and welding on a new unit?

That's the cheapest I've found, and just had to buy one myself.

As far as the reverse lockout, I'm guessing that is probably something you will need to buy directly from Atwood.

Why would you have to cut it off? Isn't it bolted on. Probably just as cheap over the long run to buy a new one that fits the need. It doesn't necceserly have to be an Attwood does it?

It's welding on, simply unbolting it would be too easy

I'm thinking about a electric/hydraulic unit such as this one:
http://www.pacifictrailers.com/Titan-Brake-Rite-EHB-Electric-Hydraulic-Drum-Actuator-4822500/

Sometimes it's handy to be able to apply just the trailer brakes from the power unit.
