Well i'm right back where i started last year. This motor runs fine for the first couples of runs i make. I'll fish a spot for maybe a hour, then run to another one, fish for another hour. After about the third time i do this, the motor will stall when you try to accelerate. Its cool here so i don't think its the heat soak theory everyone's been laying on me. It also spits or lean sneezes after those runs but clears out and runs. This thing is a hoss up on top, but just doesn't like the gas after a few runs. I'm pretty much at the point were it has to be in the carbs. I've linked and sync'd and went through the carbs numerous times. I guess i could try changing the air bleeds and richen up the idle screw a turn. What a annoying deal this has been. I'm starting to think the plastic carbs are just horse sheet. Maybe changing the carbs over would be the fix, that would probably cost a fortune though.
Any suggestions before i wire dynamite to this motor and watch it go boom?
It was about 75 degrees today here in nashville, i guess heat soak could be possible, but i'm just not convinced it is.
