wish i could find a 90 for that.
Maybe if the government keeps improving the economy like they have in the last year.
I had to laugh this week they came out with the latest unemployment rates.
I live in michigan and more specifically Montcalm County which has been battling to stay in 1st place for highest unemployment rate in the state.

The local news was making a big deal out of the numbers because we dropped from 19.3% last month to 19.0% this month.
Wow...makes me want to go out and blow some money.
And they repeated it over and over during the newscast like it was a big deal.

As reported by our local news. It's also not helping our economy when prisoners that are doing life are getting a stimulus check and they get to keep it.

I live in a very small community and we have had an outbreak of gas station robberies in the last 2 months.
Never have crime like that in this area.

I am ready to get the heck out of michigan.
How's the economy in Florida?
Company that offered me a job on Long Island NY a few years ago has an opening in Panama City, seriously thinking about pursuing it.

Theft and burglaries are on the rise everywhere. A neighbor two doors down got robbed last week.

We get paid less then northerner's for the same jobs, yet housing cost is typically the same if not more...

Read the reports on how bad Florida was hit with the housing boom bust...

Read the crime stats for the tampa bay area... S. St. Pete is becoming like a big inner city ghetto... it's just out of control... (don't know much about the panhandle, but hear its very "rednecky" (and I am a redneck so no offense )

Traffic is atrocious with little in the way of public transportation, and because everything is so spread out, even if you did find a bus, it would take you hours upon hours to go 30 miles...

I'll keep the thread PC and refrain from other comments hehe, but suffice it to say, if I didnt have so many roots here, and love the water like I do, I would leave!

Florida housing is WAY cheaper than here in MD. I've owned homes in Florida and own some in MD now.

It depends on where you move in Florida. The best thing is there is no state income tax here, so that helps a little. I feel like The Man gets enough of my money anyways. The traffic does suck, but hey, that's why I have a boat. You stay in a bad mood all week at work, and go out on the weekends to forget it all, right?

I took a couple of cameras to be cleaned a few days ago. The camera store was packed and people were buying. You would never know there is a recession by what was going on there. I even had to park in the lot of a pizza joint next door, because all the spots at the camera shop were full.
