Searched and found old threads but pics were gone. I'm looking for a horizontal kicker mount for my standard Bayliner swim platform. Mine probably had and OEM one however it was removed and replaced with a larger ladder. I'm already aware of dunking the kicker in high seas. I boat on inland calmer lakes. I'm keeping the retractable ladder on Port and would like to mount the kicker on Starboard.

I saw one on West Moron but not sure if that will work. Any idea's on who makes something I can use??

Here's a couple of pics of my swim plat:

To the very bottom is about 2'. Off to the sides roughly 1 1/2'. I have an old 9.2hp that I'm working on to use. Again, this is for inland water way use. Minimal waves. I lunched my O/D this year and I was ALMOST stuck with an $800 towing bill. That wont EVER happen again. The chances of me ever needing the kicker are slim HOWEVER if it saves me $800 and gets me the 8 miles to home then it's worth it to have around.

the only thing i see you can do, with that platform, is make an aluminum or stainless L bracket with a 2x4 and mount the motor to it. then just tilt it up and lock it. also run it every time the boat goes into the water. i really think to be effective you will need a long shaft motor, but you can try the one you have. similar to this, just beefed up..

Actually I just acquired a piece of 1/4" steel L bracket about 10" X 4" that will work out just perfectly mounted to some Marine ply and bolted to swim plat. Probably over kill but better safe then sorry. Ill take it home and powder coat it.

Thanks for you help! :)
