Sure. It's just an electomagnet. Just hook up a + wire to the only wire terminal on the solenoid, then attach a ground to the body of the solenoid. It should magnetize the rascal instantly and suck the heck out of the iron cylinder that the choke actuator is attached to up into the body of the solenoid. The trick is having a 6 volt battery, or using a resistor in series with a 12 volt battery. You might even get away with using a 12 volt battery but I've never done it so I don't suggest it.
