Christmas Story....... my son has a leg lamp and we just discussed passing the Red Ryder down to my 3 yo grandson but we figure he "would put his eye out" so we will hold off!

National Lampoon Christmas is good but I has to be A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott. Have to watch it every year.

It will ALWAYS be "A Christmas Story" for my wife and I. Almost 20 years ago, I took an old VHS camcorder and halfway through my VHS copy of the movie, I filmed my proposal to her.
We worked in a restaurant back then, he was a server, I was a bartender and we worked Christmas Eve. Afterwards, we were tired as hell, but I told her it was a tradition with me to watch the movie every Christmas Eve. We watched it, and halfway through came my cheesy proposal. She said yes!

We are going to break the tape out and watch it this year, as we haven't watched my version in a few years.

That's great. Fond memories eh !!!!

I agree, but I can't think of one. Maybe that's the point you're trying to make.... Now Easter, "The Ten Commandments" w/Heston. My daughter and I watch it every year. She's 13. Not sure why they show it at Easter... Awesome movie tho...

Anyway, back to Christmas....... A Christmas Story........

"We're no Angels": Bogart, Aldo Ray, Can't remember other guy. The best "feel good" Christmas movie of all time.

I'm going to watch for that one, haven't seen it in years. Good movie.
The "other" guy is Peter Ustinov

we are big on the christmas movies in my house, and there are 4 that we watch EVERY YEAR.

1) national lampoons christmas vacation
2) a christmas story
3) jim carey's how the grinch stole christmas
4) miracle on 34th street
