AMC is running a 5 day marathon of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
On FX tonight is Deck The Hall's with Danny DeVito and tomorrow is Christmas With The Crank's :D:D:D

What's the best Christmas movie?
It's A Wonderful Life does not count.

A no brainer, Swabber.

"We're no Angels": Bogart, Aldo Ray, Peter Ustinov. The best "feel good" Christmas movie of all time.

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
Best one ever for me. I think everyone can relate at least one of the family members to their own family !!!!!
We certainly can. One of Mrs Ken's brothers is without a doubt cousin Eddie and we have a yuppie couple a few doors away.
And there's more !!!!

Bad Santa takes the cake by far.

I laughed, I cried, I experienced the full range of human emotion :)

Re: Best Christmas Movies

I would have to go with "It's a wonderful life" and "Scrooge" (the original 1950's classic- black and white preferred) and of the recent crop of movies I would have to say 'Family Man' with Nicolas Cage...sort of 'its a wonderful life' in reverse.
I've never seen all of White Christmas (yeah, I know...what??) but this year I will make the effort because I do hear its worth it.

Re: Best Christmas Movies

It will ALWAYS be "A Christmas Story" for my wife and I. Almost 20 years ago, I took an old VHS camcorder and halfway through my VHS copy of the movie, I filmed my proposal to her.
We worked in a restaurant back then, he was a server, I was a bartender and we worked Christmas Eve. Afterwards, we were tired as hell, but I told her it was a tradition with me to watch the movie every Christmas Eve. We watched it, and halfway through came my cheesy proposal. She said yes!

We are going to break the tape out and watch it this year, as we haven't watched my version in a few years.
