Looks like your frame my not have been assembled correctly. Premier is a family owned company and their customer service is top notch--- I'd recommend giving them a call and emailing them the pix and ask them their thoughts. They may be able to help figure it out quickly.

Still waiting for a helping hand but I measured it and if it did fold down back using the current pivot point it would hang off the back about 2.5 feet. .. Might that be a reason? In the meantimei will email them and see if they respond

Well I spoke to the company and she said it is definitely on backwards. Hopefully on Sunday I will take it down and try and flip everything around, apparently the dealerships install the Bimini tops

well lots of snap relocating, switching bows, moving brackets, and cutting poles (for the mini trailering poles)...... it finally folds the right way!!

P.S..
if someone has an extra 1.25 support pole they'd like to give me (so i can put them back on the front)...... i'd love an early christmas haha

Hey bobbo, glad to see you finally got that taken care of. Can see where the original setup would be a PIA. The installer on that must have been reading the directions in a mirror.

Does anyone know where to get the Bimini straps that have hooks on both ends? I don't have a way to attach the straps to the top without having them rest on a sharp edge which will rip through the strap during An evening on the boat

Is there anyway to add another snap to your existing straps. Any upholstery or shoe repair shop should be able to stitch one on for very little $$.

1.25 aluminum square tube isn't that expensive if you want to go back to the rigid support poles.

Are these straps you are using when the Bimini is open? I use 1" transom straps. The little straps that came with the boat snapped due to the high winds we can get on our lake in Oklahoma. I don't recall the name of these transom straps, but they are not the ratchet type, they are the type that you just turn down the buckle to tighten them up.
