Re: Boat names.

Well I've had four boats and haven't named any of them- the first was a '76 Mark Twain and if had to name it I would have called it,"Piece of ****!" It broke down more than it ran, but it was free from my dad so I can't complain too much. My latest, a '94 Mastercraft Prostar 205, runs and looks great, something I always wanted, so I thought about "A Boy's Dream", which is a lyric from a Dave Mathews Band song. By no coincidence, the song was "Crash", maybe that's why I've been hesitant to go with the name! :D

Our Larson 206 SEI is "Riff Raft". We boat on the Finger Lakes and it can be a bit stodgy here :p

Re: Boat names.

I didn't read through the whole list, so I don't know if these were already posted:

Knot Paid For (later changed with a piece of red electrical tape through the word knot!)
Happy Screw
Blow Hard
Bank Account
Blank Check
Knot Trainer
Bobber
Wake Maker

And my Grandpas Sail boat was 'Rocking Chair' ... and the dingy was 'Foot Stool'

"BULLHONKY" Well I traded in my horse for a boat that needs rebuilt. And mom said it was a bunch of bullhonky and so it stuck!

Re: Boat names.

We named our Glasply 2100 cuddy "Chopstick."

1. The boat is yellow.
2. My wife is Chinese.
3. It really sticks it to the Puget Sound chop.

I'm putting the name in an Asian-style font on the stern and in Chinese characters on the sides. I'll be easy to spot!

Re: Boat names.

This is my first post on here and I have a 88 Laser bass boat named "off the hook". It was named that when I bought her and for the first year the name came true because every bass i got to the edge of the boat came OFF THE HOOK!!!! I have since learned to set the hook with authority.
