Re: Boat Names

I recently picked up a 14' gamefisher that is not much to look, but has yet to see a skunked fishing trip, it has earned its name as the "Dirty Hooker". Past boats named "Plan B" and "Fishizzle"

My brother had a pontoon with a leak in one tube, he called it "Ilean".
I catfish so mine is called "catmendo", makes me want to go fishing everytime I hear Bob Segar.

Re: Boat Names

I worked on this boat today.
It was out of Kentucky but I don't know how much of a hillbilly the guy was, this thing was optioned to the hilt and wearing a 250 4 stroke Yamaha, probably a $50,000 boat.
Pretty funny though.

I'm in my late forties and have a 2 year old son who's name is Justin. I didn't think I would have any of my own kids. My 16 year old stepson, Jon, suggested we name our boat "JUSTIN TIME"!

Works for me! :)

Re: Boat Names

We have three kids, both work and own a company, we decided to buy this boat while we were finishing our basement, we started to landscape our back yard last year and will need to continue as soon as spring comes around...why on earth we decided to buy a boat now is beyond me..
we named (are going to name when we pick it up) "Chaos"
I have been trying to find a cool way to spell it but have not come up with anything good right yet.
"Kay Ahhhhs"
"K"-Ahhsss

Re: Boat Names

you people are coming up with some good names, I have a little boat that I'm restoring, it's taking me forever to get it done, and really haven't come up with a good name for it yet, it's been said that these boat names just come to you, but I'll be darned if it's come to me yet, I'm sure sooner or later, something will come to mind, but as of right now, I can't think of a thing.

Classy Dame (for the red and white boat)

Peppermint (red and white boat)

Sundae Float

Batman's Stunt boat ;)

Little Red Head

Old float (instead of old fart)

Comin back in style

no trailer queen (like the cars going to car shows in trailers)

I haven't come up with a name for that Starcraft at the bottom of the page either; it's that little boat I'm looking for a name for. I like "Oar Again" that fits, and the "no trailer queen" sounds good to, I'm been accused of trying to create a trailer queen by a family member over this restoration, but a trailer queen it's NOT going to be, I had thought of "leaky rivets" for the Starcraft, because it has a couple.... and for the little boat I thought of "kanardly" as in "can hardly ____<--fill in the blank, when I was a kid, my mom had a car she called Kanardly, it stood for "can hardly go" because something was always going wrong with it.

Re: Boat Names

My friend had a 28 foot lobster boat and it was origanaly named the ghost due to it's grey color. After a few years of lobstering he still had no radar just his "trusty compas". Well after a while he ended up renaming his boat to "Which Way" beacuse every time the fog would set in that is what him and his friend repeatedly asked each other.

I think "Off Coors" would be a good name for the lobster boat. ;)

since you spent so much on the red and white boat maybe boatruptcy would fit the bill.

or Aunt Tique, Red D or Knot, Ol' School, grandpa's float, restOARation the III, Third Time Oaround, Lucky Star Craft,

Re: Boat Names

My Buddy cleaned some mildew off the inside of the bow (boat sat upside down for Years) of his 14' John with a gasoline wet rag, went fishin' and dropped his cigarette, you know the rest....named it, "Whatrfire"
