I pulled the motor to change the t/t. When i replaced I am not sure if i bolted it back to the same holes. I am wondering if I should raise the motor or lower it. It is a 115 merc 1991 and a1991 procraft boat. When going full throttle the water is spraying out at the driver console.

raise it as high as you can until you get cavitation then you may need to go back down a hole. The less drag you have the faster you will go.

Do you have a water pressure gauge? Temperature gauge? Properly running "on the pad" has a great deal to do with the proper prop. Consider posting all the proper information in the prop section and follow Dhadleys advice to the letter ;)
