We need something like that say on the Mississippi or near Niagara falls for recreational boaters to get our Joly's. Maybe the Hoover dam, could use a few bail out dollars for a project.
Spent time in the area (Holy Loch - US Navy North Atlantic Submarine base). My kin are from the area (AYR). Firths and canals everywhere. Best trout fishing I ever experienced in icy streams. I think that lift allows boat travel from Glasgow to Edinburough across the country. Anyone know maximum vessel size it can lift?
