Have an upholstery shop make you a small curtain out of matchin vinyl. Snaps to the windshield at the bottom and then to the floor. $25-$50.
yeah that does sound like what i'm wanting, i was just curious if there was something sold like that? i may have some plexiglass i could cut, just not sure exactly how to attach it as i would only want it temporarily while the weather is cooler.

but how would i attach buttons to the bottom of the window?
I bought a 24 x 48 x 3/8" of "starboard" marine plastic. Got it cheap on ebay, $37.
Cut to size, (18"x32" for my boat) 2 inches wider than the opening.
I slide it in place on front of the opening.
It leaves only a 1/4 inch gap where it meets the windscreen.
Mine wedges in snugly, but you may need to install a small channel or bracket to keep it in place on your boat.
Stores neatly on the side of my seat when not in use.
The filler 'flap' made from vinyl sounds like an easy solution.
I would also shy away from drilling for snaps, and would probably use velcro where it attaches to the windshield frame. You can buy the velcro in long rolls, and replace the half on the metal easily.
