Hi, Mark.<br /><br />Try stretching your line out along a longwharf by tying a bowline in one end and dropping it over the furthest set of cleats, then stretching to the cleatset furthest from that point... you'll see the line try to rotate to allow the lay to set as you do this: allow it to do so by rotating the working end. Coil it and you should have pretty much taken care of the problem, although if it's polypro you'll need to repeat it a few times. Nylon samson-braid should settle out after one or two and nylon and manila 3-strand laid should settle out after the first stretch.<br /><br />BOL with it...
