Hi all,
Just got done replacing bellows, u-joints, and gimbal bearing on a 1996 bravo 1 . When I re-installed the drive it went on and left about a 1 inch gap between the drive and bell housing. I slowly wrenched on the six nuts to cinch it up. Now I am wondering if I have damaged the drive. The drive will shift into reverse but not forward. I was also wondering what kind of damage is caused by shifting into fwd and rev when the motor is not running? Thanks for any help
