Bravo outdrive vibration when in gear, smooth in neutral

I dewinterized my friends 89' Arriva over the weekend. I was worried about possible ujoint or gimble bearing vibration and learned a little more about the vibration. When in "N" the motor is smooth as silk. When put in gear it's not too bad, but when I give it gas, the vibration gets slightly worse. The prop looks ok, but does have some wear/dings. My friends dad thinks the drive shaft is always spinning and the only thing that changes when you put it in gear is in the very bottom of the lower foot. Is that right? Other than the prop causing vibration (which is possible) are there bearings I need to check? I think this is a Bravo I outdrive. I didn't see any Bravo I or Bravo II markings, so I'm not 100% sure. Any ideas where I should start?? Thanks!

post a pic or the drive serial numbers. Alpha shifts in the bottom, bravo shifts at the top.
props bent or out of balance, bent prop shaft.

I'm fairly certain it's a Bravo. It has the 7.4 V8 and I've been told they used the Bravo since the Alpha would not hold up to the power. It's a couple hours away so I can't get a pic right now. Assuming it's a Bravo, are then anythings common to wear out below the shift points? If I had to bet I would say the prop, but it "looks" ok. Can the prop be out of align or anything like that?

Bravo`s are pretty stout so I`d be looking at the props or a bent prop shaft.

All the upper gears, ujoints, bearings etc, are turning regardless of the gear positioning (to answer your question). So, the issue is most likely in the lower unit and related to things that are connected to/support the propeller shaft.
