Wondering.... How do I protect the INSIDE of the axles from corrosion? I already see water rust stains dripping at the ends.

If you have access holes, spray some PB Blaster in them with the little red nozzle extender. A bit messy but it will stop corrosion.

Not to sound preachy but luck is for the unprepared. I would make it a habit of going over your trailer stem to stern at least once a year if not more looking for rusty bolts, frayed wires and failing parts. The trailer is often the forgotten workhorse with a trailored boat and typically is not as forgiving as yours was the day you broke the axle. There is nothing worse then having to park your boat on the side of the road somewhere while you go to try and find the parts to fix it if you can even fix it without a tow. Especially with a boat as big as yours, you would pay a fortune in towing if you had to have a tow truck try and drag that big of a boat anywhere.

You could try something like Fluid Film, (http://www.eurekafluidfilm.com/)
I've used it on other tubing to keep the unpaintable inside areas free of rust.
You need something that will fog the inside of the tube and coat it completely, not just lay on the bottom.
I'd also consider adding sufficient drainage holes if it's possible. You may want to call the company that made the axles for ideas or options.
