i need to replace my 7in buffer :blue:
what buffer do you guys use???
what buffer do you guys use???
I probably use it about 6 times a year. its lasted 4 years so far without any problems
For the price of the others if you spend 10 bucks @ HF you get a No Questions Asked 2 yr warranty I've had mine 2 years, do my Boat Truck and Car twice a year. NO PROBLEMS
I use Porter Cable tools a lot, and they make good tools. I'd go with this one:

There's more to a "good" tool than it being cheap, and having the option of returning it when (not if) it comes apart. Harbor Freight has the "No questions asked" warranty you can (and better) buy for a reason.
Just my 2 cents worth.
your buffing/polishing, not grinding. I have never gone above 1800 RPM buffing a car, truck, plane, RV or a boat. first pass is at about 1000 RPM
the Porter Cable unit spins way too fast.
What do I use?
A vintage Black and Decker Buffmaster. Dual variable speeds (rotary and trigger).
They show up on ebay occasionally. Over the years I've snagged two of 'em for 50 bucks each and they're both still working great.

$30 bucks Variable Speed
I use the Harbor Freight one too, and purchased the extended warranty. I use their grinders too, and they have replaced them twice.
