I wouldn't buy it. If you want a 6.2 for performance, why are you looking at bayliners? Lots of better boats out there- get something with a decent deadrise and a higher quality build- a formula perhaps?
Because the circulation pump stopped and the closed loop cooling stopped, the engine got COOKED. That happened to my 454- got so hot it blew the radiator cap on the closed loop system. I "fixed it" and guess what happened the next summer cruising at 3000rpm with no hard stress?
