new to here, was wondering how we all have different ranks, and how i can get out of the "cadet" rank that i'm stuck in? thanks

Just fine, thanks for asking, Bob. The littlest speck is doing well, growing like a weed, and excited about starting first grade. She-who-must-be-obeyed has a terrible bout with poison oak or sumac right now. Her one eye is almost swollen shut and it is all over her face, arms, and legs ... hopefully it won't last long ... the niece and her new husband are coming for a visit this weekend!
