................................(maybe a broken bone in foot, but I don't think so ... fouled a pitch off of his foot - next pitch he singled to right).

Yes..........................but did he score:confused::confused:.......................................and more importantly did they win??:p;):D:D

No, he didn't score, but it was an RBI single. And yes, they did win and are playoff bound. We left after the 6th ... when we finally convinced him to pull himself out of the game and go home and rest his foot. Talked with him this morn and it was swollen and black and blue. He won't go to the doctor, so no use trying. He is at work today.

Whats this Post padding?

Shucks, that's an easy question. It is posting something with little meaning or use just to get your post count higher. You know, kind of like what you just did. ;):p

However, and this is important to remember, when someone reaches the status of Captain or higher (there you go LT, I got yer back!) you can no longer engage in post padding. That is because you have proved that EVERYTHING you say is important and all cadets, seaman, etc, should hang on every important word of the officers. :D:rolleyes:

The only way to get up there with these two old salts is to stay up late hours and chat on a post like this as though it was an IM.

Who you talkin' 'bout, Willis???? Old salts ...well, I never ... I ain't that old, and my wife says I am quite sweet, thank-you very much. Now if you are referring to LT and Spinner, well, that might be a different story, but I will keep my mouth shut!:p;):D

Man you two continue to get all the credit/criticism . . . You can also get up there by actually having something to say . . . but, of course I don't . . . Bye.
