I spent 2 days @ TBar installing a kitchen while a couple of my buddies were fishing. They caught a 4.5 lb small mouth too. Not bad eh?

Some of my handy work before & after:

Man that looks sweet!! Gonna have to work on mine now!

 The televised NASCAR race was in Vegas, close to the lake = lake fix for us lake junkies :D

Now i understand, too bad theres not a small pond to fish out of in the middle of that track, lol. I seen hella rvs going home from that event and wondered if they see the races from the ground level or if they go to the top of those rvs.just thinking, ladder and up and downs would bother me after a while lol..

As you drive to lake mead, you cross over many washes,to the eye they seem impossible to believe that a flood of that caliber ran through it,but stop the truck and go look closely, you will see that it was real and happened just as the walls and floor tell it.Seems scary at first but thats mother nature. So next time you pull into a cove for anchor, check the wash area for signs, you never know what god has planned.

We had 5 RV spots for years at CA Speedway in the infield. We watched some of the race from the roof, and we also got tickets in limited quantities for the stands. You could also watch the race on flat screens outside and inside the RV's. Great times indeed. Had to give up the $600 per event (plus party supplies ;)) after 10 years due to the economy.

Damn you look familiar (pic 2). Been in the infield 4 out of last 5 races . . . Where were you guys? Site number? I always buy off Craig's list, so I've moved around a little.

I've been a NASCAR fan since I saw my first partial race in the early 70's on wide world of sports as a kid. I was a fan of Cale Yarlborough for a long time until this rookie named Earnhardt came along. I was the MPE PM for the GC at LVMS for the Neon Garage and Media Center work and had all access for 3 years at the Races including VIP camping in the infield for my travel trailer.....the one thing that I learned from all of this-

LADIES, ANYONE BUT KYLE BUSCH...PLEASE!:D

hmmmm...now the one in the middle looks familiar :)
The guys in my post pics are buddys of mine. When we started we were in the second row back by Staters then we got moved when they determined it wasn't safe by the track and re-configured the whole area over there. They put us second row going into turn 3. We always had a bar with lit palm trees set up and motorhomes in a U configuration, facing south open to the road. The guys accross from us usually had a doughboy pool. The kids had a blast so we've been tempted to go back, but it would never be the same without the bid quad area we had. Still, we probably will someday.
I don't have any pics of the site on this puter, so I pulled one off of FB photos. Me cruising on the cart, taken in front of our area.

Huh, I just got to thinkin he probably looks familiar because he's had a place at Havasu for 15-20 years. Goes out a lot so you've probably crossed paths a few times. He's got a 28' Advantage Party Cat

Depending on the race, you go in on Thurs or Fri, and again depending on which race, you go out after the race is over (a few hours) or the next day. You get a wrist band so you can leave and get back in during the event if you want or you can stay the whole event which could be up to 5 nights
With the common denominator with everyone being racing, it's one hellava party. Some go a little overboard with elaborate displays - and then some, while others barely get a door mat out but it's all big time fun. We've gone on until 3-4 in the morning. There are bands playing by the vendor area outside the grandstands and on Sat night the have a headliner band set up in the infield.

Generators are on a lot. They do have pump out trucks that make the rounds. An incredibly fun weekend, that's for sure.

Re: calling all lake mead boaters! nevada

Oh ya,by the way all old school pwc users this is the last summer of runnin those old skiis. They have been trying to ban those for years and years and now its here,Because of the throttle action is so quick and the pwc is so moveable it has been banned after this yr,unless it is direct injected or 4stroke.the same thing to me.I have heard theres gonna be upgrades available but expensive though.

Now the question is,what about the old school outboards! I believe they will give us a window of years before it is in effect.
As of now no worries guys,we still good!

I believe Lake Havasu is gonna have hella older pwc runnin on it next yr,due to the fact its not in effect there, watch out rangers!Theres a estimated 11,000 pwc in vegas surrounding areas alone.

It's about unburnt fuel in the exhaust, not performance . . .
