Looks to be darn near full poll in that pic, hope to see that in the (near) future!

I went out to Willow Friday night, then Echo Saturday night-Sunday, pretty lucky as I dodged the storms. At home it was pouring and stormy both nights, but not where I was at the lake. Sunday night a cell blew through at our house, rain and pea hail driving into the garage and I thought, sure glad I'm NOT at the lake in these conditions. (Been out in that carp before, not fun, hunker down and ride it out.)

MZ, last trip out in June I had to drop my Chene anchor 3 times before I got it to hookup, I wasn't a happy camper... Not fun dragging up 400-500' of line, only to drop it again. After that I stopped by BPS and picked up a fluke anchor, TieDown #8 SuperHooker. First drop last weekend it hooked up solid and held in the stiff breeze, probably 20MPH for a couple hours. That Chene has been demoted to the backup anchor, hope it never gets wet again.

Speaking of Willow Beach . . . the guys at the marina indicate the park service will be taking over operations there. I do see they posted a "Fee Area" sign back up on the highway. Any ideas on when this may happen? ugh

That far out photo was from 1985.

Park service taking over operations??? (explain)

The fee (fee is a 4 letter word in my book) sign at Willow has been there since LMNRA started the fee thing way back when, 8-10 years ago. It won't be long before there is an entrance station at Willow as they have built the fee shacks at almost every lake access road there is, I wonder if South Cove has a fee station yet?

We were sitting in 115' of water. I dropped anchor at 70' let out line until I saw the bottom coming up on the other side of the cove, fish were stacked up on something down there, probably an old wash channel I'd guess

Strange how the intake 3 is on the inside part of bay instead of toward deeper area by river path.I believe man walked on moon too.

And where was intake number 1 at?that steel structure just outside old lake mead marina,im confused!!I never saw planet x anyway.telescope was clean and ready though lol.

I'll have to check with my Meadview friends. I don't think they have wasted the money,,I mean put one in yet. :D

I wasn't around the lake back then, but I know that now I need to make sure that I have enough fuel in the truck to get from ready lane to launch..:D

Hope we get some wet winters on the west side of the divide!

It looks like she's been holdin' steady around 1115' for the past few weeks.

Elevation is steady, the beaches are awesome, the water is too nice, my daiquiri is too fruitful, the weather is here, I wish you were beautiful :cool:

Has anyone noticed this is a bad *** pict of lake for fishn reasons! i wish i had one of calville like this too.

Once it's built, you're welcome to come out and use it if you need to.

Lot's of work needs to happen first.....And it is not as big as I wanted, 30' x 36' x 12'. But for $2,300 I can't complain.

I'll put a 30' x 22' shade port on the end for boat and travel trailer.
