Wow, 132' drop in Lake elevation in 10 years. That is a great link 12V, wish it wasn't reality. :blue:

Yeah 12vman, awesome link. The water intake situation is crazy. Pretty smart to add the third intake closer to the bottom of the lake. Looks like their preparing for the worst. Im at work right now, but thanks to that link I now have something to do all night.

And yes, welcome finally BB. I see you got your first post out of the way. Just a heads up to you all, BB and I talk all day about boating and fishing. mostly fishing though, or boating for the purpose of fishing and I've been telling him about this awesome site (iboats of course) and then mentioned this thread. Glad to see he finally joined.

My wife and I decided we would take a break on being dog owners. We lost our canine pal of 10 years a couple of months ago.

Our daughter and grandkids showed up with a rescue pup just to say hi and then left him with us.

We have a new resident.....I need to give him a name. He might like boating on Lake Mead.

Hello everybody my name is brandon. I'm 22 years old and have lived in henderson almost my life. I love to be outdoor and especially go out and fish with family and friends. I am currently in the market for a little bass boat.

As to those largemouth I try to catch and release all of them unless I hook them bad.

We lost our last dog to old age and we were also going to wait a while. But my wife came home with Bentley and friends got his sister they were also rescue dogs. So now when we hook up the boat he will not leave our side to make sure he is not left at home.
Plus our friends take there dog it worked out well. P.S. if he gets any bigger going to need a bigger Boat.

And just that quick he is now the Grandson's dog. Wife wasn't happy that I broke the pact, (Bummer) the boys came over and couldn't get enough of him. The pup and I had a fun day.

I think my Daughter had this in mind as a contingency plan. They have a pontoon so I'm sure he will still get to the lake.

He did get named BTW... Clint.

it really hurts to lose a animal. After my border collie past, I found a dog on craiglist as a pup. I have never seen a dog that protects his masters like this. When we are at the lake with him, he is always within 5 yards of my 6 year old son. When my son meets children at the lake, max might bark a few times but ends up corralling all the kids into a area within 5 yards of myself and his mother. Great life guard dog.
