Gevalia Signature and Kona. Grind my own. Run Britta filtered water through a Bunn commercial. No paper filter...only screen. One pot and I look just like my avitar.:D:eek::D

Used to do the Gevalia thing, but I drink more coffee away from home than I do at home. Their automatic shipments got to the point where I was stocked up for months so I finally cancelled........but very good coffee though. I'm assuming they still do the auto shipments?

I think they do. I get mine dirt cheap at our company store ($2.25 box, Kona-$18.00) as we use to own Kraft foods which had a major interest in Gevalia. Though we have split up, they still let us get it for cost.

You part of PM, MB, or some other Altria division?

I am still part of Kraft foods :( , which is why I haven't tried Gevalia. :)

Re: Calling coffee drinkers

[/ATTACH]Kopi Luwak (pronounced [ˈkopi ˈluwak]) or Civet coffee is coffee made from coffee berries which have been eaten by and passed through the digestive tract of the Asian Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus). The civets eat the berries, but the beans inside pass through their system undigested. This process takes place on the islands of Sumatra, Java and Sulawesi in the Indonesian Archipelago, in the Philippines (where the product is called Kape Alamid) and in East Timor (locally called kaf?-laku). Vietnam has a similar type of coffee, called weasel coffee, which is made from coffee berries which have been defecated by local weasels. In actuality the "weasel" is just the local version of the Asian Palm Civet

Ummmmm.....no thanks!!

Just in case someone didn't see The Bucket List or picked up on this in an earlier post..

I am down to ordering freshly roasted beans and ready to replace the Cuisinart grind and brew with either a Bunn or Krupps. Looks like I gotta spend $100 to $150.

Any suggestions to fine tune the coffeemaker would now be greatly appreciated.:)

We have a Cuisenart grind & brew, too. When it starts, it sounds like a jet winding up for takeoff. It makes pretty good coffee, but it is a lot of work to clean it up. For us it is easier to use a separate grinder for the beans.

Wow...I've had coffee that tasted like crap before, but that takes the prize. What do they do, chase these vermin around with a little coffee filter waiting for them to take a dump?

Folgers, Maxwellhouse, or what ever is on sale. I was surprised at how good 8 O'clock coffee was. But my favorite is at the Gate Station. Where else can you get a great cup of coffee and a Hot dog? The Lunch of champions.

By the way, I can drink starbucks, but still prefer Gate's Best Bean.
