Ok, quick post game overview.
In the penalty shot I would have NOT had Stone take the shot. I would have put Schwarz in there. The reason?....if Stone, doesn't score (and the Penalty shot venue is different that goal scorers on the fly) then it could affect his confidence. So, in my opinion....you put a high finesse player in for the penalty shots. They tend to be a bit 'show boaty' but they can come up very big in the penalty shot thing.
Good game tho', very competitive and I agree...the score betrays the game a bit.
...so as far as I'm concerned this entire tournament is played 1 shift at a time....so no predictions at this point. I believe in the work ethic and 'full court press', and 'full pedal' that is put upon the team the way that the 'Sutter Tradition' did its injection several years ago.
....time for a skate sharpening...and retaping the sticks........Who's next?....get ready, cause its comin'
