As I recall, it had a large plate over the manifold where the 2bbl carb sat, that i believe you could remove, & put a small 4bbl on, as long as you found a close match, & adapted the linkage. (I never went that far with it).

bigame64 Didn't I already point this out? I believe you could fit a Quadrajet right on there, and end up with a 180hp/250cu in 6cyl.

I had a GM L6 250 and I had an OMC Log Mainfold and what sat on top of it was Holley 4bbl carb. Large "hole" in the manifold and about a 1" thick adapter plate is what the carb bolted to...

Thanks guys, thats a positive note. I think it would be a great setup for a 2900 lb SS 215 Slickcraft, with an L6 292 w/4brl in it. Thanks, I'll let you all know how it works when i get it together.
