Not a Facebook person yet. From my end will continue using this website, THT and BoatUS. Over 10,000 views so far (THT & Iboats)

The views really make no difference. CS could care less what a bunch of people hiding behind their computers have to say. The posts on these message boards
really only help you vent a little bit, and ultimately will have no effect on CS's decisions.

At least your post on THT did not get closed. This one was posted about the time you purchased your boat, despite some questionable posters, questions would have been raised in my mind about the boat after reading this. Still, just people posting behind a computer, but nonetheless, some dissatisfaction apparently

thread

Still hoping you get this resolved to your satisfaction, and I think you will

They are still promoting a Facebook page for the FunChaser. Don't underestimate the power of social media. While posting on a forum is goo, only the people who belong to that forum will see it. When a company has a page to promote themselves it's more like an advertisement. You con go to that ad and spry paint all over it if you like. I'm just sayin'

Slip Away....Shame on me for not doing my homework before buying the boat. As stated earlier this was an impulse purchase at a boat show..............Never too old to learn a lesson!

No shame buying from a company that you should have been able to trust put out a good product. You did not make a mistake, CS did by putting out a product Bayliner would be embarrassed about.

Update? You guys are really being patient. I would set a firm deadline for resolution with proposed solutions in writing and give a deadline for response to your proposal.

Carries more weight if it comes from your attorney. CS owes them an explanation of some sort at this point.

Letter mailed from my lawyer to Carolina Skiff this past Friday with a 15 day response time frame on how they plan to address. To show how efficient lawyers are.....this letter sat on lawyers secretary desk for 2 weeks (lost in the shuffle)......Based upon reply from Carolina Skiff will determine next step(s).

I disagree. CS spends a ton of money on their image and when a design failure is sold and customers are unhappy they lose sales. Their skiffs are proven. They want to grow which is a good thing. They sold a terrible product which reflects on everything they sell. The longer people are without their new boat and unhappy the worse CS looks. Anyone that believes CS is slow at taking care of their custyomers the fewer customers they get. With so many other builders out there why even buy one of their skiff some will ask.

I'm taking a different route than gmarktho, using a major boater advocate group. I'm thinking we should come at them from multiple directions, and if one of us wins, we will all win.

Intersting to note that Carolina Skiff is offering a $1000 rebate on the purchase of one of their Funchaser Pontoon Boats. They stop making them because of some sort of design problem, but keep selling their leftovers to unsuspecting buyers. And folks have been saying they are a reputable company?

The Susuki outboard seems to be doing fine.

Maybe it's the Evinrude that has the water intrusion issue.

It's not just the water intrusion that I experienced on my boat. Other owners have shared performance problems and a host of other issues which, IMHO, prompted a redesign of the FunChaser by Carolina Skiff.

I have seen you thread here and on THT, give it a rest. It happened. Companies have bad designed from time to time. My Mazda 6 that I bought new in 2009 was a total junker, I traded it in, took the hit and moved on. It happens. As for iBoats not listing Carolina Skiff, im missing what connection you are trying to make.
