I would not push it with this company. Sounds like they are willing to fix the seats. Now taking it to a shop and asking them to dismount seats and have Chap pay for this as well is pushing it in my book. If you turn this into a major hassle for them they may just say forget it and tell you to pound sand. Not saying they will but I would take what they have offered gladly and pop the seats off and on myself.[/quote
Asking a mfg to stand behind its warranty is not pushing it.... Getting non biased professional opinion's is not pushing it.... documenting the problem is prudent...The man making the final decision would be in a postion to say yes to a warranty claim if all the ducks are in a row and showing clearly a mfg defect is causing the problem...and not be in a good postion to say no if the issue is clear..
This need not be a adversarial claim nor is this post. Warranty claims are a expected part of doing business.....It just there are times when individuals take it upon themselves to make decisions that they should not be makeing...![]()
