Have you tried going up some with the engine?
What prop are you running and how much setback do you have?
Every boat will chine walk if it's got the power to do so.
Mine will start it at about 65, but I just drive thru it.
It is an aquired bit of driving.
But as others have said, you may be at the max of your hull design.
What boat do you have?
You was at WOT and trimmed out? It's an older Blazer bass boat with Johnson 150. I'm not really into the speed thing anyway, I was just testing it at WOT.
Chuck
Right when the video first starts, it is in chine walk.
But then drives thru it.![]()
That is right Mike, same thing in a full blown version.
You make small corrections to the steering, but you have to know how small.
That's why I said an acquired bit of driving.
See, now whatcha need there is a set of them smart tabs....Fair enough, here's another R/C boat of mine, a fibreglass pro raceboat (German made) a bit smaller with a stepped hull, it is a challenge to keep it right side up, it's so skittish!
