Good Morning...
So I am forever looking for more options for powering my boat. Found some really good deals on some older, yep I am going to say it, Chrysler outboards

1973 130 HP $450 TnT

1979 115 HP $350 TnT

Should I even look at these? I read (Chrysler Force forums) that they got bad reps unnecessarily but if maintained they are good motors.. do they power out the same as the OMCs? I would like to pursue the 130HP but its a 73 so makes me think a little more about it. I know it comes down to how does it actually run / look?
Comments on Chrysler motors in general (Are they junk or are they good if ___?
Don't roll your eye's too much
, Like I said, I'm hooked on digging up the low cost option!
Thanks!
