Re: College Football Games to Watch

This Thanksgiving dinner should be a good one...my brother in law played for ND and the rest of our family are Bama fans...:D

Barkley...keep your fingers crossed...this is the silly season and "anything" can happen...:)

Thanks for the "cheer up". I still cannot believe it happened. All I can do is cross my fingers, and toes!!!

That video is pretty funny, USC certainly didn't live up to ther hype but you can only put so much on preseason polls.

I remember Jabba the Weis second year we started the season ranked 1 or 2 and ended up going 6-7 so you never know and as much as I try to block it from my memory, I recall going 3-9, that was a very dark year.

I am pretty sure we could have beat them even with Barkley playing, I wish he was now all I will here is they would have won if he was in the game and I am not so sure he won't play, I don't trust Kiffin.

I read an article that compared ND to Bama and it was pretty crazy how close they line up, both Ds are exceptional and the offenses have almost the same numbers so if he game happens it will probably be a feild goal fest like last years game(ND wins by 10)

To be honest I would much rather face Georgia or Florida but either way it should be good close game.

Looking forward to this Saturday, lots of good ball on and with another night game I will have lots of time to kill.

Happy turkey day everyone!

Nebraska survives a scary, ugly game to head to the B1G championship game.

The game of the day was Washington State over #25 Washington 31-28 in OT.

Tomorrow will be fun too.

I feel guilty for being non-productive but this rivalry weekend only happens once a year.

I am in for Mich- O-state at noon, hoping Michigan can pull one out, REALLY don't like the Buckeyes and Georgia-GT is on at noon too then probably flip between Bama AND Auburn and Florida-Florida state but there are a bunch of games on so the remote will get quite a work out today.

My game is late again so there is nothing to do but watch other games all day, I am calling ND by at least 14, I really don't think it will be much of a game, USC doesn't do well with runnig QBs or spread offenses and we can spread a feild and they haven't seen anything close to the IRISH defense this year, throw in a green QB and you have all the fixxins for a rout.

Watch Bama and Georgia lose now and it will be another BCS nightmare, can't wait for playoffs.

I couldn't help but edit your quote a bit :)

Hard for me when Notre Dame plays USC. I dislike both teams so much!

Yup. Only good thing is one of them will lose. Wish there was a way they both could lose.

I Think Nebraska drank a bit too much of the local water after seeing them play at Iowa yesterday.

USC went from pre-season #1 to unranked. Notre Dame went from pre-season unranked to #1. Not a fan of either team but I like Brian Kelly's demeanor. He looks and acts like good people from my perspective.

Nice pic! One of the real sore points among some is that the water tower has never been painted with Iowa colors and a Tigerhawk logo.

Conditions were pretty grim in spite of the bright sunshine. 28? with 20-30 NW winds gusting to 40. Passes into the windd were mostly out of the question and with the wind tended to sail. Iowa's defense elected to show up for this one which hampered Nebraska during the first half, but they wore down later. Nebraska actually has a lot of weak spots for a 10-2 team.
